When compared to regular glass, borosilicate is safe for initial piercing, resistant to chemicals, scratch- resistant, less susceptible to fractures, resistant to thermal shock, and not poured into molds. All our glass jewelry is handcrafted in St. Louis, Missouri.

MM Glassworks strictly uses borosilicate glass that is hand made in the USA. Borosilicate Glass is scratch resistant but still fragile and should be treated as such. All glass is guaranteed to arrive scratch and breakage free. We will package each order in a foam insulated box free of charge. Borosilicate glass is autoclavable. Do not use harsh chemicals on any jewelry. Do not wear in the shower or while swimming. Wash with antibacterial soap, but take caution while removing; glass will break if dropped on tile or cement.

As a body piercer who has the thinnest lobes ever, I can never get good quality glass plugs that don’t hang out of my ears. These are perfect, fit great, beautifully made and came quickly. I appreciate the time and craftsmanship put into these pieces, it can be hard to find glass plugs that I don’t have to special order and wait weeks for!

Second purchaae from this seller. Always fast shipping. I decided to give the double flare a try after living the single flare I ordered last time. My long hair often got caught and pulled the o-rings off the single flare. I LOVE that these came in a 1/4" wearable length. They fit my ears perfect and I didn't have to search the bed this morning for a missing one. I really think so far these are the better option & will cause me way less problems than the other. I was originally dettered of the double flare bc I''ve had to fight with previous materials & hurt my ear getting them in. These slid right in so easily given the smooth material. I really hope the seller offers other styles in the 1/4" in the future as I would purchase the amber and striped B&W. Heck I may even go up a size bc of how comfy they are in my 2nd holes.
Repeat purchase becase I lose these often and the price is really good for me to keep extras on hand.
