Wash with antibacterial soap prior to use. Do not use any harsh chemicals such as madacide or any other cold sterilization method. Trace amounts of toxins will remain on the silicone. Silicone can be autoclaved but at lower temperatures than steel and titanium. Please refer to your autoclave user manual for proper settings. Remember all materials can not be treated the same in your autoclave.
