When compared to regular glass, borosilicate is safe for initial piercing, resistant to chemicals, scratch- resistant, less susceptible to fractures, resistant to thermal shock, and not poured into molds. All our glass jewelry is handcrafted in St. Louis, Missouri.

Care Instructions
MM Glassworks strictly uses borosilicate glass that is hand made in the USA. Borosilicate Glass is scratch resistant but still fragile and should be treated as such. All glass is guaranteed to arrive scratch and breakage free. We will package each order in a foam insulated box free of charge. Borosilicate glass is autoclavable. Do not use harsh chemicals on any jewelry. Do not wear in the shower or while swimming. Wash with antibacterial soap, but take caution while removing; glass will break if dropped on tile or cement.

Despite the review of this specific pair I want to start off with the fact that I love all of my other purchases from this shop and will purchase from here again. This specific pair, though well made.. had turned out to have a very different color than expected. I do not find it true to the photos and also feel it is not flattering against the skin. I expected something more pastel and opaque but not completely opaque of course. Deeply cloudy beautiful mint color was the hope. Nonetheless, I love the quality, the shops options, the shipping, and the customer service is very quick and informational.
I have the amber, clear, black, and smoke double flares and one single flare in green. I'll buy the double flare of the green when it restocks. These are the only tunnels I wear anymore.

I bought this pair for my 4g conch, and 4g septum, both freshly stretched. The tunnels are so lightweight I sometimes frantically check to see if they’re still there. And they are, lol. They’re incrediblyyy comfortable, can’t stress that enough, and have made my healing process smoother. Sand is way too light, glass material is great but sand color is not as dark as the picture portrays... Sucks because it wasn't used and won't be used and I can't return or exchange the item.
