When compared to regular glass, borosilicate is safe for initial piercing, resistant to chemicals, scratch- resistant, less susceptible to fractures, resistant to thermal shock, and not poured into molds. All our glass jewelry is handcrafted in St. Louis, Missouri.

Care Instructions
MM Glassworks strictly uses borosilicate glass that is hand made in the USA. Borosilicate Glass is scratch resistant but still fragile and should be treated as such. All glass is guaranteed to arrive scratch and breakage free. We will package each order in a foam insulated box free of charge. Borosilicate glass is autoclavable. Do not use harsh chemicals on any jewelry. Do not wear in the shower or while swimming. Wash with antibacterial soap, but take caution while removing; glass will break if dropped on tile or cement.
My only problem with these is they are way too long, so they stick out a lot in the back. Maybe in bigger sizes it's not as bad.

I had an issue with my first order because the stem and flare were extremely small, and after many messages between the seller and myself, I was sent out another pair of a larger size 5.3mm and a larger flare and they fit perfectly.
